BJP will issue around one lakh passes to students of universities,colleges and other institutions of higher education to attend the rally of partys prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Kanpur on October 19.
For the first time,a gallery exclusively for students would be set up at Indira Nagar Ground where the rally Modis first in Uttar Pradesh will be held.
Various senior leaders,including national president Rajnath Singh,will take part in the rally.
As the party is focusing on association of youths with the organisation ahead of the Lok Sabha elections,it will issue more than one lakh special passes to students and invite them to hear Modis vision for the development of country,national security and employment of youths, said BJPs Kanpur district president Surendra Maithani.
Maithani said the passes would be distributed at Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur,Kanpur University and other educational institutions,including medical and engineering colleges.
Former MPs,MLAs,student leaders and other state level leaders of the party will organise camps in these educational institutions from October 15 onwards to distribute the passes.
Maithani said a separate gallery for youths,close to the dais,would be set up at the rally venue.
Another similar gallery would be set up for intellectuals where only doctors,advocates,members of employees and traders associations would be allowed.
The party has prepared a listed around 2.5 lakh mobile numbers of Kanpur region to invite for rally through SMSes and voice-messages.
