We’re seeking an experienced Systems Lead – Cloud & DevOps who can combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution. This role requires someone who can manage large-scale cloud and infrastructure operations, while also actively working on Systems, CDN, Devops, Linux Systems and automation tasks. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable guiding teams and solving problems directly at the system level. You will work alongside a team of engineers to ensure our high-traffic WordPress sites deliver fast performance, high availability, and cost efficiency.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Expert-level AWS knowledge: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3/Glacier, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, etc.
- Advanced WordPress operations: scaling high-traffic sites, caching strategies, plugin/theme lifecycle management, database optimization, and security hardening.
- Strong CDN experience: Akamai, CloudFront — advanced caching/edge configurations.
- Proven cloud cost optimization and budgeting expertise.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring and alerting stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus / Grafana, ELK / EFK, Datadog, New Relic).
- Practical, hands-on experience with Bash scripting and Python automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in maintaining and scaling mission-critical systems
- Cloud certifications (AWS / GCP) are a plus
