Let's begin with our top story. The creator of the hit HBO series Succession says the upcoming fourth season will be its last. Jesse Armstrong told The New Yorker in a piece posted online Thursday, Feb 23rd, that he wanted the show’s many fans to know the end was approaching. Succession follows a wealthy family that owns a major media conglomerate and struggles to maintain its power. It stars Brian Cox as the Roy family patriarch and Jeremy Strong as one of his children, who connive to succeed their father as the company’s leader. The show has won 13 Emmy Awards so far, including several for Armstrong for writing and drama series honours in 2020 and 2022.

Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh recently opened up about her swimming experience as she participated in a triathlon. In her latest Instagram post, she is seen swimming in a lake and wrote, “I FINISHED LAST. I’ve always struggled with swimming & unfortunately all triathlons start with swims, that too in open waters. Last weekend’s Shivaji Triathlon was one of my hardest ever. A windy, choppy lake resulted in a panic attack that lasted almost an hour! The idea of quitting was painful but Shivaji Lake looked like the kind of beast I had no courage to tackle that morning.”

In the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India Season 2, unique pitches by Pharmallama, Crave Raja Foods, VA Perfume, and Galdful are heard. The judges tasted Crave Raja Foods’ delicacies and were quite impressed with their pitch. Pharmallama aims to deliver pre-sorted medication arranged into neat sachets, by date and time. The pitch by VA Perfume left the judges in splits after a founder said their products are ‘night agarbattis’ which can be used to create a romantic mood. Pharmallama was given a five-shark deal, which according to Namita Thapar is very rare. The judges said that the company which had previously got such a deal is currently off the charts.

Meanwhile, Jannat Zubair started her career as a child actor but in the last few years, she has largely been known as a social media influencer. With over 45 million followers on Instagram, Jannat Zubair said she is proud to be an influencer but believes that one's social media presence should not be a factor when hiring an actor. Jannat mentioned that the makers can hire a PR firm to promote their project, but for an actor, they should hire someone for their talent. She told Siddharth Kannan, “What about the fact that the person is talented? That they have been working and that is what you want for your project. You want an actor, you don’t want somebody to publicize and promote it."

T-Series released the song Biba on Wednesday, Feb 22nd, and shortly after, Pakistani musician Farasat Anees took to his social media and called out the music label for ‘copying his song’. Farast shared an Instagram story and wrote, “I mean what else can we expect from a world-famous label like T-Series? Such a disgrace.” Fans called out T-Series almost instantly. One wrote, “It takes a lot of skill to copy and paste, so I guess we should be congratulating T-Series for their impressive thievery.” Another commented, “Farasat’s BIBA has over 25 million views on YouTube and was featured on Joyland and has millions of streams on Spotify. It’s an incredible track.”
