After Langevin was censured late on Thursday, the council’s Mayor Rob Medina during the meeting said, “We’re all overwhelmed by everything.” The mayor added, “This nation was founded on immigrants…We are all part of the very fabric of the flag, our banner, the United States of America,” the Washington Post reported.
