In a message on Truth Social, Trump said the “only” healthcare plan he would approve is one where money goes “directly back to the people”, adding that he does not want “big, rich insurance companies” to benefit. He said Americans should be able to choose and negotiate their own coverage.
In the post, Trump wrote: “THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE AND BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!” He also urged Congress “not to waste time” on any other approach.
