Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man has gone beyond just protecting the streets. In India, the iconic Marvel superhero has become the subject of playful antics. From someone in a Spider-Man costume getting caught posing on the bonnet of a moving car to another dressed as Spider-Man making rotis on a terrace, these lighthearted acts have added a humorous twist to the beloved character.
A video that recently went viral captured an unexpected scene at Kalyan Junction in Mumbai, where an influencer, dressed as Spider-Man, posed as a beggar to create viral content. The clip was shared by Instagram user Spiderman From Mumbai (@shaddyman98), who captioned it, “Spider-Man ko dedo bhai koi (Someone, please give alms to Spider-Man).”
A man dressed in the classic red and blue costume can be seen seated beneath a staircase in the station, aiming to grab the attention of commuters. In the midst of the bustling railway setting, the content creator also extends his hand, requesting money.
