Many of us have made mistakes during online meetings on Zoom and Google Meet— from keeping the camera on unknowingly or forgetting to mute one’s mike. These gaffes turn out to be highly embarrassing, especially if they are made in a professional setting.
Earlier this week, a Twitter user @AmanHasNoName_2 shared how he accidentally shared the screen of a shopping website that was selling men’s underwear during an online office meeting.
In the chat box, his colleagues seem to be helping him out as one person wrote, “Aman you’re presenting the wrong tab, please switch”. Another colleague wrote, “I think your screen is stuck”.
This tweet soon raked up hundreds of likes. Commenting on it, a Twitter user wrote, “Hahhaha That’s why they say to close all the tabs before taking the meeting xD”. Another person said, “It’s fine, I would probably be happy that people have something funny to talk about after the meeting”.
Many netizens recalled they too have faced similar embarrassing situations during work meetings. A Twitter user said, “Happened with me also once, accidentally unmuted my mic and was arguing with mom over bhindi and breakfast, prof and my classmates heard it. Aman naam walo ka luck kharab hai”.
Interestingly, some people also speculated that this tweet could have a collaboration with the online retail store Ajio.
