A video of a 10-year-old boy selling rolls in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area has caught the Internet’s attention, including that of business tycoon Anand Mahindra. The now-viral video, shared by food vlogger Sarabjeet Singh on Instagram, shows Jaspreet making a chicken egg roll.
Speaking to the food vlogger, Jaspreet says he recently lost his father to brain tuberculosis. He says he learned to make various rolls and wraps from his father and took charge of the food cart after his demise. “I am the son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Will fight as long as I have the strength,” Jaspreet is heard saying in the video.

The video, which was shared a week ago, quickly went viral and grabbed the attention of Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group. Posting the video, Mahindra offered help for Jaspreet’s education. “Courage, thy name is Jaspreet. But his education shouldn’t suffer. I believe, he’s in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. If anyone has access to his contact number please do share it. The Mahindra foundation team will explore how we can support his education,” he wrote on X.

After Mahindra posted about helping the boy, several users praised him. “Well done sir. This kind of philanthropic activities are highly laudable. Keep it up,” said one. Another user wrote, “That’s really kind of you Sir.”
“With little Punjabi that i understand, i think Kid wants to continue his business sir. He has been promised a Pakki Shop, which he accepted as a loan i think,” the third user said.
