After Donald Trump’s controversial audio was released, tweeple have been busy figuring out who they’d rather vote for than Trump!

There is no denying that as the US gets closer to election date, the intensity in the battle to the finish between the Republican and Democrat presidential candidates and their supporters is going to increase to gigantic proportions.

But in what seems to be a strange scenario, members of the Grand Old Party not only have to do a lot of damage control thanks to the latest in a long line of scandals breaking out with regard to Donald Trump. When the highly controversial audio of the Republican nominee was released on October 7, the Internet — and mainly all the social media platforms — erupted with outrage, quickly followed by the characteristic mirth. The Republicans themselves seem to be well on their way to distance themselves from their own candidate, so the quick-to-provide-an-alternative Internet decided to help out.

Soon, the hashtag #MoreElectableThanTrump started trending on Twitter, with Tweeple putting out all the stops when it came to showing whom they preferred. Starting from their cats and dogs and a whole host of pets, the votes went to pretty much the entire cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Morgan Freeman (can I vote?), Ramsay Bolton (of the Game of Thrones fame), and even Christopher Walken!
