The internet woke up on Monday with a sea of videos of fans celebrating as India defeated Pakistan in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. From over a hundred fans cheering for India on Indore’s streets at 2 am to flood-like situations in Mumbai, these videos have gone viral online.
Soon after India defeated Pakistan by six runs in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on Sunday, over a hundred fans gathered on the streets in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore at 2 am. The viral video showed fans waving the tricolour, bursting crackers and dancing to dhol beats.
Mumbai woke up to the first spell of monsoon rain on Sunday morning. Videos of waterlogged roads and flood-like situations in several parts of the city took over social media. In one of many videos, locals can be seen walking knee-deep in water along a road near Dadar.
