Amid several videos of the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony, an annual military parade held in central London to mark King Charles’ birthday, one showing a Royal Guard proposing to his lady love is winning hearts on the Internet.
The viral video opens with the Royal Guard, in uniform, hugging his girlfriend. After kissing her, the man puts a ring on her finger. The elated couple then kisses and hugs again, saying goodbye to each other. As the woman approaches the main gate to leave, he gently stops to kiss her again. The guardsman then runs back to perform his duty.
Sharing the video on X, Daily Mail wrote, “Moments before the Royal Family appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, a guardsman had a very special question.”
