Amid heavy snowfall in Canada, an Indian-origin woman living in the country recently took on the viral freezing Maggi challenge, showing what happens to a bowl of noodles when kept at -17 degrees. She took a freshly cooked bowl of noodles to her balcony, opened the window, and let the cold breeze in, revealing that it was -17 degrees outside.
The viral footage was shared by Shikha Agarwal, an IT employee and influencer, on Instagram. In the video, she demonstrated how the cold weather froze her noodles. “It’s minus 17 today. I’m taking the time for this because it’s fun. Let’s see if it works,” she said as she placed the bowl on a table and slowly opened the window shades.
As the video continues, she lifts the bowl from the table and holds it up, revealing the effects of the cold weather on her food. The video shows the noodles frozen in place, forming a solid block. The fork, suspended in the air, struggled to pierce through the noodles as it was lowered into the bowl.
“I never thought it actually will work,” Agarwal captioned the video.

“Wasted a full bowl of Maggi,” a third user reacted.
