Largest Luxury Goods Companies by Market Cap (2025): The global luxury market is expected to generate $495.16 billion in revenue by 2025, with Statista forecasting a growth rate of 3.94% from 2025 to 2029.

Despite optimism among investors that the luxury goods sector would recover from its downturn this year, increasing traffic and trade tensions have raised fears of a global recession, leading to declines in the share prices of these companies.

Recently, Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy (LVMH) lost its title as the world’s largest luxury company by market capitalisation to its competitor, Hermès, on Tuesday, April 15.

Reuters reported that LVMH’s shares dropped by 7%, reducing its market capitalisation to €246 billion, while Hermès reached €247 billion.

India’s luxury goods companies are on the rise:

In a notable mention, the renowned Indian eyewear and watches enterprise, the Titan Company – part of the Tata Group – is the sixth largest luxury goods company in the world with a market cap of $33.85 B (₹2.904 T) as of 2025.

India’s multinational jeweller, Kalyan Jewellers, has an estimated market capitalisation of $6.32 billion (₹542.53 billion), making it the 13th largest in the world.

Meanwhile, India’s leading luxury watch retailer, Ethos Watches, has a market capitalisation of $0.76 billion (₹65.33 billion), ranking it 24th globally.

Lesser known – Rajesh Exports – an Indian multinational gold retailer, with an estimated market cap of ₹57.02 B ($0.66 B), stands 26th on the list.

While European luxury brands—particularly those from France and Italy — continue to dominate the global high-end fashion and accessories market with against like Hermès, LVMH, Prada, and Dior — Hong Kong’s Chow Tai Fook rounds out the top contenders with a strong presence in Asia.

Founded in 1929, Chow Tai Fook is a household name in Greater China, renowned for its jewellery craftsmanship, trust-driven brand, and wide retail network.
