Coolpad partners with Snapdeal to sell smartphones in India

Coolpad is looking forward to set up a R&D centre and manufacturing unit in India soon.

Coolpad has partnered with Snapdeal to sell its Dazen brand of smartphones in India. The Shenzen-based company manufactures its devices and has more than 6000 patents in mobile technology. It is looking forward to set up a R&D centre and manufacturing unit in India soon. Coolpad intends to sell its smartphone only through e-commerce websites.

Coolpad Dazen claims that it is the fastest growing online brand in China. “With Coolpad Dazen, we want to lead the next wave of disruption in the Indian smartphone market, with high quality devices, game-changing specs and innovation designed specially for our Indian customers,” said Varun Sharma, India CEO of the company.
