5 Delhi Metro stations to get WiFi soon

DMRC has signed a MoU with the Rail Tel Corporation of India to provide WiFi in five metro stations.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is looking forward to provide WiFi Internet services at five metro stations. DMRC has signed a MoU with the Rail Tel Corporation of India for the service. The five stations are Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Vishwavidyalaya, Central Secretariat and Hauz Khas.

“As per the MoU, the installation of the equipments is expected to be completed within the next seven months. Rail Tel shall conduct the necessary surveys, install equipments and carry out maintenance of the installed infrastructure,” according to a release. DMRC is exploring the possibilities to provide Internet connectivity inside trains as well.
