Vodafone Idea, often referred to as Vi has announced new plans which cater to users who use a lot of mobile data every day. The prepaid plan, called ‘Super Hero’ offers unlimited mobile data from 12 AM to 12 PM and works similarly to the midnight data benefits offered by Vi.
The company claims that it’s new plans appeal “to data-savvy youth, already benefitting from Vi’s successful Hero plan, additionally also addressing the needs of women who prioritise productivity during morning hour, with enhanced data benefits tailored to their schedules.” The company says the Super Hero plan is designed to “align with evolving data consumption patterns”, so users won’t have to worry about running out of data.
Available as a free add-on for Vi customers who are subscribed to prepaid plans that offer more than 2GB of data per day, the Super Hero pack also comes with benefits like ‘Weekend Data Rollover’ and ‘Data Delight’ that lets users get up to 2GB two times in a month. This can be claimed from either the Vi app or by dialling 121249.
Vi’s Super Hero prepaid plans start from Rs 365 and offer benefits like unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, with some giving users access to OTT Platforms like Sony Liv, Netflix and others.
A few months ago, all major telecom operators in India, including Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel hiked their tariffs, following which they recorded a decline in active subscribers.
