Sony today unveiled a new range of headphones and speakers designed for music lovers. The new series named ‘Ult Power Sound’ consists of three Bluetooth-enabled speakers and a wireless headphone which the company says produces “powerful deep bass”.
Developed in partnership with Grammy award winner Peso Pluma, the new products include Ult Tower 10, Ult Field 7, Ult Field 1 and Ult Wear. All models in the newly unveiled series come with a ‘ULT’ button that enhances the overall audio experience by letting users select between two audio modes.
The Sony Ult Tower 10 is a party speaker which comes with Ult Power Sound, a technology the company says “enhances low-end frequencies for exceptional bass” with the ULT button letting users select between deeper, lower frequency bass and a more powerful punchier bass. It also has an omnidirectional lighting that syncs with the music and comes with echo and key controls on the top panel. It is priced at Rs 89,990.
The Sony Ult Field 7 is another portable bass-heavy party speaker with dynamic lighting and a mic port for karaoke. It supports quick charging, can last up to 30 hours on a single charge and is IP67 water and dust-resistant. You also get Echo and Key Controls on the back panel and support for Party Connect, a feature that lets you link up to 100 compatible speakers. It can be purchased for Rs 39,990.
Designed for those on the go, Sony Ult Field 1 is a compact Bluetooth-enabled speaker that offers 12 hours of battery life and IP67 water and dust resistance. Available in black, off-white, forest grey and orange, the speaker comes with a built in microphone with Echo Cancelling technology. It is priced at Rs 10,990.
The latest wireless headphone from Sony – the Ult Wear is designed for those who like bass. With support for personalised EQs, 260 Reality Audio and noise cancellation, the new headphone also comes with the new Ult button.
Featuring the Integrated Processor V1, which also powers the 1000X series headphones, Sony says the headphones are designed for maximum comfort and come with modable cushions. You also get wear detection and multipoint connectivity. They are priced at Rs 16,990.
