A rare 4GB iPhone from 2007 has broken the record for the highest price ever paid for an Apple product at an auction. The sealed original iPhone was sold for a whopping $190,372.80, surpassing the previous record of around $63,000 for the same model.

The 4GB iPhone was one of the four original iPhones that were up for auction by LCG Auctions. The other three models included an 8GB iPhone from 2007, a 16GB iPhone from 2008 and a European version of the 8GB iPhone from 2007 that was locked to O2. Together, these four iPhones fetched close to $265,000.

The 4GB iPhone was the most sought-after item in the auction, as it is extremely rare and hard to find. It was discontinued within three months of its launch due to low demand, as most customers preferred the higher storage options. It cost $499 when it was first released, but now it is worth almost 400 times that amount.

The second-highest price in the auction was paid for the 8GB iPhone from 2007, which went for $53,725.20. This model is also quite rare, but not as rare as the 4GB one. The 16GB iPhone from 2008 sold for $13,789.20, while the European model got the lowest bid of $7,075.20.

These vintage iPhones are collector’s items that attract high prices from Apple enthusiasts and fans. They are a part of Apple’s history and legacy, and represent the iconic status of the company in the industry.
