New Samsung Galaxy Unpacked leak reveals event date

A new post by the known tipster Evan Blass suggests Samsung will host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, a few days ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In the last few weeks, several speculations and leaks hinted that Samsung’s next Unpacked event will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7 series and the much anticipated Galaxy Buds 3. While details about the aforementioned products have been making their rounds on the internet, the event date was unconfirmed.

However, a recent post by the known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that Samsung’s next Unpacked event might take place on July 10 at 10 PM KST, hinting that the information might be sourced from the company’s Korea website.

Apart from the time, the banner also reveals some interesting details. The rotating box’s shadow that appears in the banner shows the symbol for Galaxy AI at one point and resembles the Eiffel Tower, which hints that the event will be hosted in Paris, France.

What to expect from the next Galaxy Unpacked event?

As is the case every year, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and loaded with Galaxy AI features.

The tech might also launch the much anticipated Galaxy Ring, which the company unveiled earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress. We might also see the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, a new smartwatch with a squarish bezel which is rumoured to take on the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Evan Blass also suggests that Samsung will launch the new redesigned Galaxy Buds 3 series wireless earbuds with Apple AirPods-like stems.
