The Google Pixel Fold and Apple’s MR headset have one little aspect in common despite being completely different devices - both devices remain shrouded in mystery, as their makers are yet to even confirm their existence. However, as their expected launch dates approach, leaks are growing more comprehensive. Google is rumoured to unveil its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, along with the Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro at the I/O 2023 developers conference on May 10. With only a few weeks to go, we get a clearer glimpse of the device. The renders reveal the Pixel Fold’s distinctive camera strip that runs across most of the back panel, housing three cameras. The external screen, which is said to measure 5.79 inches, has uniform bezels on all sides. It resembles the Oppo Find N in terms of aspect ratio, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold series which has a narrower and less practical cover display. According to previous leaks, the Pixel Fold will sport a 7.57-inch main foldable screen and a Tensor G2 processor. It will pack a 4,700 mAh battery that may support both fast wired and wireless charging. The phone will come in two colour options: “Carbon” and “Porcelain”.
