Jio’s Rs 349 plan is the cheapest plan that gives access to a 5G network. With the latest update, it now offers 2 GB of 4G data along with unlimited calling for 28 days, whereas Airtel’s popular monthly plan costs Rs 379, also offers 2 GB of 4G data, unlimited 5G data with 30 days of validity.
Jio’s latest Rs 999 is not entirely a new plan. It comes as a replacement to the Rs 1,199 plan, which offered 84 days of validity with 3 GB of 4G data per day, whereas the new Rs 999 plan is not just cheaper, but it also offers 14 additional days of validity, which comes up to Rs 10 a day. However, instead of 3 GB of 4G data, the plan now offers just 2 GB of 4G data and unlimited 5G access. This plan is similar to Airtel’s Rs 979 plan, which also offers 2 GB of 4G data along with 5G access but for just 84 days.
Similarly, Jio also has a new Rs 949 plan with 84 days of validity, a 2 GB of 4G data limit per day, 5G access, and a complimentary Disney+ Hotstar subscription. The brand has also introduced a new Rs 1,049 plan with 84 days of validity, 2 GB of 4G plus unlimited 5G data, and complimentary SonyLIV and Zee5 subscriptions.
