Jio’s new plan offers 10 GB of 4G data for Rs 11, but there is a catch

This plan is meant for those, who need a lot of data in a short period.

Jio has just introduced a new data add-on plan. Priced at Rs 11, this plan offers 11 GB of high-speed 4G data; however, it just comes with a validity of one hour or 60 minutes. Designed for those with a 4G-only smartphone, who might require a lot of data either to download or upload.

Users can recharge this plan on top of their already existing plan. As mentioned earlier, the data benefits will become invalid after an hour of recharge time, and users need to consume the entire allocated data within the stipulated period.

It’s an interesting plan for users who don’t have a plan that offers unlimited 5G data and is also meant for those who might want to download and upload a large file from the cloud and don’t have access to a high-speed Wi-Fi network.

Jio also has a similar data-only plan where the company offers 25 GB of 4G data, but in this plan, the company offers one-day validity and is best suited for those who might want to watch a live sport or download or upload a large file, and this plan is termed a cricket offer plan.

Do note that both of these plans are stated to offer unlimited data for their entire validity. However, the speed will be capped at 64 Kbps after consuming 11 GB and 25 GB of 4G data, respectively. Users can get these plans from any of the mobile recharge platforms such as My Jio, Amazon Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, and more. However, some of the third-party platforms might charge an additional convenience fee.
