The company said that making e-bikes for them is a “natural move” because it already has experience making drones and gimbals.
The electric mountain bike called Amflow PL will make use of DJI’s newly developed Avinox Drive System and pack tech commonly used in drones and smartphones. The e-bike’s frame packs a 2-inch OLED touchscreen that will display real-time riding data as well as the bike’s estimated range.
Users will also be able to connect the bike to their phones using the Avinox app, which offers features like an anti-theft mode and lets you track the real-time locations of your bike. DJI says users will also be able to customise different settings like the power, torque and cadence to their preferences.

Coming back to the e-bike, DJI Amflow PL will have four riding modes – Auto, Eco, Trail and Turbo, alongside a Boost mode that will offer an emergency boost of power. DJI says it is packing its Smart Assist Algorithm, which will be integrated with various sensors to automatically adjust the amount of electric riding assistance based on the user’s riding resistance.
Similar to DJI drones, the Amflow PL e-bike will be available in two variants – one with a 600Wh battery and another one with an 800Wh battery. The company claims the model with a smaller battery has a maximum range of 117km whereas the latter can go up to 157km. The DJI Amflow PL has a carbon fiber body and weighs 19.2kg and offers 105Nm torque, a power output of 850W and the frame is compatible with both 27.5-inch and 29-inch rear wheels.
There are three versions of the DJI Amflow – PL Carbon (800Wh), PL Carbon Pro (600Wh) and PL Carbon Pro (800Wh) will be available sometime in the last quarter of the year and will cost somewhere between Rs 6,31,3232 and Rs 10,82,268.
