BSNL India, in a limited-time Monsoon Double Bonanza offer, has announced a price cut on one of its Bharat Fibre broadband plans––Fibre Basic Plan––to Rs 399 per month from the earlier Rs 499 per month.

However, Rs 399 will be for the first three months, and Rs 499 thereafter. The plan offers 3300 GB of high-speed data at 60 Mbps, but speed will be reduced to 4 Mbps beyond that. Also, first-time subscribers will get a month of free service. Users can book a new Bharat Fibre broadband connection by sending “Hi” on WhatsApp to 1800-4444.

BSNL also has Rural/Urban fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) plans starting at Rs 249 and Rs 299, respectively. However, these plans offer very limited data of 10 GB and 20 GB with up to 10 Mbps speed, respectively. However, these plans aren’t as practical as the Fibre Basic Plan. Besides data, BSNL broadband plans also offer unlimited local and STD calls to any network, and the company offers data speeds of up to 300 Mbps on some of its more premium plans.

BSNL also recently waived installation charges of Rs 250 for copper connections and Rs 500 for Bharat Fibre connections, making it cheaper to get a new broadband connection.
