OnePlus has released a video where the company conducted a drop test on its latest flagship smartphone – OnePlus 3. OnePlus claims it dropped the smartphone from a height of 750 feet, and the device worked even after the drop test.

The 5-minute long OnePlus video has been shot in Mimizan, France. It starts with the OnePlus crew in an aircraft and one of them holding OnePlus 3. The member drops the smartphone as aircraft reaches an altitude of 750 feet. Although the smartphone is thrown on the grass and not on a concrete surface, the altitude is still good enough to cause damage. However, when OnePlus 3 is finally found on the ground, it survives with only a few scratches. The camera in OnePlus 3 works fine and other apps too seem to open.

OnePlus 3 is the new flagship killer from the Chinese technology start-up OnePlus. OnePlus 3 ditches the sandstone body we saw in the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. In our review, we said OnePlus 3 is sure stylish. In fact, it can easily pass off as an HTC flagship, which we think has been the pinnacle of smartphone design. In our review, we further noted, the best feature of this phone has to be its camera. OnePlus comes with a 16MP rear camera, which we feel puts it right there next to the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge or the LG G5 but at half the price.

OnePlus 3 runs the latest Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 Ghz and comes with 6GB RAM. OnePlus 3 is available in the 64GB storage space options, with dual-SIM 4G support. In India, the OnePlus 3 is Amazon exclusive and costs Rs 27,999. It has a 3,000 mAh battery, which should easily last more than a day’s usage.
