Micromax has launched the Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 smartphones in India. The Canvas Selfie 2 is priced at Rs 5999 and comes with 5MP rear and front camera, while the Canvas Selfie 3 has an 8 megapixel front and rear camera. Micromax has not yet revealed the price of the Canvas Selfie 3 which will hit the Indian market in end of August. Key features of the two new smartphones are: Canvas Selfie 2 has a 5MP Front Camera With OV sensor (OV5670) and 4P lens/ 5MP Rear Camera with OV Sensor (OV5648) and 4P Lens. It has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS Screen 1 GB RAM, 8GB storage space, and a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery. Micromax has added a leather like finish in the rear panel and the smartphone runs Android 5.0. Canvas Selfie 2 will be available across all the online and offline stores from August 22. Canvas Selfie 3 supports Bluetooth enables selfie stick, and has 8MP Rear Camera with Blue Glasses 5P Largan Lens and 8MP front camera with Sony MX179 and LED FLASH. It has a 4.8 inch HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla glass 3, 1.3GHz Quad core processor; 1 GB RAM and 8GB storage space. The battery is 2300mAh. Micromax says Canvas Selfie 3 will be available across all the online and offline stores in the last week of August 2015 before Raksha Bandhan.
