Asus 6Z is scheduled to launch today in India at 12:30 pm IST. The phone has already been launched in Europe as Asus Zenfone 6 and it features the first of its kind flip camera setup that rotates the dual rear camera setup of 48MP+13MP by 180 degress to turn it into the front cameras. The flagship device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
At the launch event, Asus will unveil the pricing of the device in India. It is priced at EUR 499 (around Rs. 38,800) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant in Europe whereas the high-end variant of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at EUR 599 (around Rs. 46,600). The phone will be sold via Flipkart in India.
The price of Asus 6Z starts at Rs 31,999 for the base model of 6GB RAM/64GB storage. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage model is priced at Rs 34,999 and the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model is priced at Rs 39,999.
The phone will be available on Flipkart and the first sale will be on June 26, 2019.

Unlike other flagship smartphones, Asus 6Z comes with a premium headphone in-the-box. Yes, the 6Z does feature a headphone jack.
Asus says it designed the Flip Camera system with liquid metal, which is supposedly hard to break. The rotating mechanism is tested for 100,000 flips, which is roughly equivalent to 28 selfies every day for five years.
The highlight feature of the 6Z is its camera setup, which consists of two sensors. One is the Sony IMX 586 - the 48MP camera and the other is a 13MP wide-angle lens with a field of view of 126º.
The Flip camera lets you take pictures of what's in front of you more comfortably. It also rotates 180 degrees to work as selfie camera.
Asus 6Z is upgradable to Android Q, one of the few smartphones to get the next version of Android.
The 6Z also features a dedicated button to wake up Google Assistant.
Asus has made a number of improvements to its ZenUI interface, which should look and feel a lot like stock Android, but with some minor tweaks.
It features Smart Volume, which adjusts your ringtone level to match your environment. It also includes improvements to the company's OptiFlex optimization technology and a dark mode for the UI.
As you'd expect, Asus 6Z is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. This chipset also powers OnePlus 7 Pro and Oppo Reno 10X Zoom. The processor is a huge lead in CPU and GPU performances.
The 6Z promises great battery life with a big 5,000mAh unit which should be good enough for two days. It also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. Asus says users would not never need a power bank when they use the 6Z.
The 6Z sports a 6.4-inch NanoEdge display with a resolution of 2340x1080, giving it an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The front screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

A Delhi High Court order restrains Asus from selling its smartphones with ‘Zen’ branding, which includes its ZenFone-branded phones. That's why the Taiwanese company rebranded its Asus Zenfone 6 smartphone as the Asus 6Z in India. Despite this, the launch of the Asus flagship has not been delayed in the country.
