Microsoft recently announced its Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Wave 1 lineup, adding several popular titles across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Standard. In a blog post on the Xbox Wire, the gaming giant said Ubisoft's popular first-person shooter - Far Cry New Dawn is already available on cloud, console and PC. Set in a post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, the events of Far Cry New Dawn takes place 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. In classic Ubisoft fashion, you will have to fight against the Highwaymen and regain control over the remaining resources. Ubisoft's critically acclaimed shooter is today joined by Another Crab's Treasure, which the post describes as a "soulslike adventure set in a crumbling underwater world." You play as Kril, a hermit crab that needs to wear the trash around and fight against enemies like shells. As for the story itself, it involves uncovering the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean and going on treasure hunts. But one of the biggest games coming to the Xbox Game Pass is Bethesda's Starfield. Developed by the same studio that brought us The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, Starfield is set in the vast endless space. The open-world RPG title features numerous star systems and more than 1,000 planets. While Starfield was bogged down by graphical glitches and other issues at launch, the game has received several updates since its launch, making it one of the best open-world games of all time. On February 6, Xbox Game Pass will get Madden NFL 25, another AAA title. Available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, the game will be playable via EA Play and come with a Supercharge Pack that will be valid from February 6 to March 6. The gaming subscription service is also bringing back Kingdom Two Crowns, a game players can either enjoy solo or play in co-op to build a kingdom and "secure it from the threat of Greed. If you are a fan of strategy games, this is a must-try. Microsoft also announced that the much-anticipated action RPG title Avowed will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on day one (February 18). You will also get Avowed Premium and Upgrade Addon, which gives you 5 days early access, two sets of premium skins alongside access to the Avowed digital artbook and original soundtrack.
