Krafton recently launched a new top-down 2D shooting game called “Bullet Echo: India”. Developed by the same studio that introduced us to titles like C.A.T.S: Crash Arena Turbo Stars, Cut the Rope and King of Thieves, the tactical shooter involves a team of players who need to fight their way to the end, with the last team standing winning the round. From gameplay to leagues to different game modes, here’s everything you need to know about Bullet Echo: India.
Bullet Echo: India is a top-down 2D shooting game like Supercell’s Brawl Stars, but the gameplay and mechanics are somewhat similar to BGMI. But unlike Brawl Stars, where you can see enemies on the map from a distance, Krafton’s latest game limits your vision with players only able to see what’s right ahead of them using their flashlight.
The game also picks up some elements from battle royale titles like BGMI, with players required to pick up things like guns, medkits, ammo, armour and more. However, these are automatically picked up and equipped when you stand on top of them.
There are also different guns and abilities to choose from, which can help you turn the tide of the battle. From machine guns to assault rifles to snipers, the game has a wide range of weapons to choose from.
Your gun also automatically fires whenever there’s an enemy in front of you, so all you need to do is control your character’s movement and use items like health kits and reload the ammo.
The rounds are pretty short and can last anywhere between a minute to two. You can also rank up and unlock more rewards that can come in handy to unlock new characters and also upgrade existing ones.
Just like other battle royale titles, you can also invite your friends and form and fight as a squad or either, Bullet Echo: India also rewards players if they are on a winning streak by offering more rewards, helping them progress faster.
Bullet Echo: India also lets users players use different tactics and choose a play style that suits them. Currently, there are 27 heroes to choose from, each of them bringing something unique to the table. While some are tanks that can take damage up front, players can also choose a sniper-like playstyle and engage from a distance.
Bullet Echo: India also has some Indian-themed hero skins like Maharani Sparkle, Dancer Mirage and Raja Slayer. Another hero – the Stalker also gets a BGMI-themed skin.
The game also has drones which can help you out on the battlefield by firing at the enemy and reviving you and your teammates in case they go down. Like Brawl Stars, all characters (Heroes) can be upgraded using in-game currency.
In case you are bored of playing with others, Bullet Echo: India also packs several different game modes like King of the Hill where you play solo and squad vs squad to name a few. However, to unlock these game modes, you will have to spend some time ranking up by playing the game.
Thanks to the simplistic graphics, the system requirements for Bullet Echo: India are pretty low. According to the Google Play Store listing, the game requires Android 6.0 or higher, meaning the game can run pretty smoothly on most modern phones that were launched in the last few years.
Just like BGMI, Bullet Echo: India has several skins and in-game currency which can be purchased using real money to level up your characters and customise them. You can also collect some free rewards from chests by watching ads.
Bullet Echo: India is currently offering an ‘Indian Welcome Pack’ that contains the hero Mirage and her Dancer Mirage skin and a bunch of in-game currency and rewards. It can be purchased for Rs 29. You can also watch ads to double the rewards that you win from a match and unlock free chests.
The game operates on a freemium model, meaning you can play it for free and also invest some real money to get exclusive skins and purchase heroes and upgrades to stay on top of the competition.
