Samsung’s UHD Blu-ray player will also support HDR pictures.
Samsung also announced that its SUHD TVs are capable of displaying High Dynamic Range (HDR) picture quality, for greater contrast, better colours and details.
It also announced support for the new HDMI 2.0a specification, which enables the transmission of HDR metadata across external HDR-compatible sources. Samsung will release this firmware update to its SUHD TVs.
