Google is doubling down on enterprise AI with the release of its new all-in-one chat interface called Gemini Enterprise.

The platform is designed to serve as a “single front door for AI in the workplace” and is powered by Google’s most advanced Gemini models including Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (nano banana) as well as Imagen and Veo generative AI models, Google said in a press release on Thursday, October 9.

Gemini Enterprise offers various features, including a taskforce of pre-built agents for specialised research tasks and a no-code workbench to orchestrate agents to automate processes across an organisation. Users can also integrate Gemini Enterprise with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Sharepoint environments as well as business applications by Salesforce and SAP in order to provide user context required for the AI agents to deliver accurate and relevant results.

Google said that Gemini Enterprise comes with built-in Model Armor protections and granular access which ensures that the AI agents use only authorised data and actions.

“By bringing all of these components together through a single interface, Gemini Enterprise transforms how teams work. It moves beyond simple tasks to automate entire workflows and drive smarter business outcomes — all on Google’s secure, enterprise-grade architecture,” the search giant said.

The launch of Gemini Enterprise comes amid a broader push by rivals like OpenAI, Amazon, and Microsoft to integrate AI more deeply into their enterprise offerings. However, the enterprise adoption of AI remains in nascent stages across the world.

AI usage at large companies has rarely been making it past the pilot stage, as per a KPMG survey of 130 American business leaders at companies with more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Another study by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) found that 95 per cent of 300 US-based firms that had invested somewhere between $35 billion to $40 billion in generative AI, saw little to no returns largely due to flawed enterprise integration of AI.

With Gemini Enterprise, Google envisions use cases for marketing, sales, engineering, HR, and finance teams.

In terms of pricing, Gemini Enterprise Standard and Plus subscription plans start at $30 per seat per month. The Gemini Business subscription plan is priced at $21 per seat per month. The platform is available in India and any other country where Google Cloud products are sold. However, the India pricing is yet to be revealed.

Gemini Enterprise supports several Indian languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Multi-modal agents

Besides Gemini Enterprise, Google said it is bringing the following new multi-modal AI agents to its Workspace apps:

– Video: An AI agent capable of converting presentations or any other content into another type of format such as an AI-generated video and voiceover.
– Voice: Google Meet enterprise customers now have access to real-time speech translation, which builds on the existing ‘take notes for me’ feature.
– Data science: This AI agent enables users to streamline complex AI model development by gathering data, finding patterns, and generating multi-step plans for training and inferencing, eliminating manual, iterative fine-tuning. However, the data science AI agent is currently in research preview.
– Customer engagement and support: This suite of tools comes with a conversational AI solution that enables customer service reps to answer questions via chat and voice and take actions. It can be rolled out in mobile apps, call centres, point-of-sale devices, etc.

It further announced the formation of Delta, a new team of Google AI engineers responsible for helping enterprise customers tackle complex challenges and adopt AI.
