
WWE Evolution highlights: WWE’s first all-women’s pay-per-view -Evolution lived up to its expectations and delivered a power packed show. In a historic night for the company female wrestlers from the past and present come together for the women’s revolution in multi-woman matches. Nia Jax won the multi-brand battle royal. While Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey retained their title. Elsewhere, Toni Storm won the Mae Young Classic. Shayna Baszler became the first ever two time NXT Women’s Champion. Overall a 5-STAR show by the women’s division.
And with this WWE's first ever all-women's pay-per-view comes to a close in New York. Loud cheers and standing ovations give an indication of quite a good show put up in the evening. Trish Straus began the evening on a high with quite a performance. Tori Storm then grabbed the limelight with her win in the Mae Young Classic. But it was Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair which took the breath away. It was quite a brutal and a violent match but simply outstanding as both of them put their bodies on the line. Can it be called the best ever women's match in the history of WWE? Could be... In the main event Ronda Rousey retained her Raw Women’s Championship after pinning Nikki Bella in another eventful match. Overall a 5-STAR show by the women's division.
The match entering the last moments as Nikki executes an Alabama Slamma! WOW! But Rousey kicks out.Nikki goes on to the top rope takes Nikki off the top rope with a never-before-seen move and locks her in the armbar for the submission win to retain the Raw Women’s Championship!
Rousey on the front foot and takes Nikki down right away. Brie constatnly trying to interfere from the outside and pays the price- as Rousey catches both the Bella twins and gives a double suplex.

Charlotte puts Lynch on the table and climbs the top rope. She is gearing up for a moonsault. But Lynch is up to the task and grabs her legs and hits a powerbomb through the table. Can Flair beat the count? The referee counts 10 & Becky Lynch wins the Last Woman Standing match to retain the SmackDown women's championship. Standing ovation from the WWE Universe!

Charlotte brings a ladder into the ring and takes complete control. First Becky gets a body slam onto the ladder. Flair then pulls Becky's legs through the ladder and enforces the Figure Eight. Becky taps but no use...
Tables, Chairs, Kendo Sticks!!! Weapons lying everywhere and it is carnage in the ring as Becky and Charlotte battle it out! THIS IS AWESOME CHANTS RING AROUND
This is getting physically intense as Becky brings out the KENDO STICK and uses it on Charlotte. She continues her assault. STEEL CHAIRS COME OUT NOW! AS MANY AS FIVE OF THEM! THIS IS GETTING BRUTAL!
First to enter is Charlotte Flair but faces a lot of booing. But Becky Lynch entry receives rapturous applause. Fans are singing her entrance theme.
Outside interference from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir but Sane counters. But the distraction allows Baszler to put the submission. Sane trying hard to wrestle out but passes out. Baszler is the new NXT women's champion. Shayna Baszler is the first two-time NXT women's champion.
UP NEXT: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair for SmackDown women's championship in a last woman standing match.
'NXT' chants coming from the crowed as Sane puts Baszler in a submission. Baszler continues to target Sane's arm. Sane counters with a big spear which puts Baszler down.
The next match will be between Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship. The submission specialist Shayna Baszler has promised a tough fight with the Pirate Princess Kairi Sane from Japan.
Quite a physical matchup. Banks takes down Logan with the Meteora. Natalyatakes out Logan with a series of power moves. She puts Ruby and Sarah in the double Sharpshooter, but is shoved off by Morgan. Bayley takes out Logan and Ruby at ringside while Banks pins Morgan to score the pin and the win. Banks with a tribute to the late great Eddie Guerrero hits the frog splash to pick up the win. Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Natalya beat The Riott Squad.
Morgan and Natti attacking in tandem and the Riott Squad are working like a well-oiled machine. How will Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Natalya get back into this match?
Both the teams make their way to the ring. Special gear for the Riott Squad as they pay tribute to some classic horror characters. Bell rings and the match begins with Riott squad on the ascendancy.
The match begins with Shirai having the upper hand. Shirai keeps Storm in a submission for a long time. Storm hits a German suplex to counter. As the match progresses Io hangs Toni up on the rope to get her in position for the 619. She hits it and heads up for a moonsault, but Storm gets her knees up. She hits the Storm Zero for the pin and wins the match. Toni Storm has won the Mae Young Classic! Toni star will be a bonafide star. She has some stunning moves in her repertoire.
Upcoming match is between Io Shirai and Toni Storm for the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament final. Winner of the second annual Mae Young Cassic will receive a wonderful trophy. Ref- Jessika Carr is in the ring.
Zelina Vega had begun to celebrate when she thought she had thrown Nia Jax and Ember Moon but they both came back. Nia throws her over and then takes care of Ember to win the match. She is in tears on the mic after.
But one can always take a break for a step or two
Asuka (winner of the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match), Naomi (former SmackDown Women’s Champion and winner of the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal), former Women’s Champions Carmella and Nia Jax, former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, Dana Brooke, Lana, Billie Kay & Peyton Royce of The IIconics, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, Tamina and the returning Torrie Wilson are all in the ring.
Some of the most famous wrestlers over the years have all made their way into the ring. The IIconics make the mistake of rubbing them the wrong way and are dealt with immediatly.
Mickie James and Alicia Fox have been left on the floor and it's Trish Stratus and Lita who have emerged victorious to start things off tonight.
