The Aussie was up for a fight and mocked Vijender in the middle rounds but the Indian was way too experienced for such activities and used smart combination of punches, and occasional big rights to keep Hope under check.

This, however, was Vijender’s first win without the knockout but the result would do a world of good for Vijender’s pro-circuit journey. Undefeated in the first six bouts, Vijender maintains the cleansheet to extend his streak to seven.
