Virat Kohli was the first to arrive for the security check and the co-passengers went berserk after seeing India’s most successful batsman in the tournament. They chanted “Kohli, Kohli”, “we are proud of you Kohli” and the Delhi dasher obliged with a wave and ‘namaste’.

Kohli was accompanied by Ashish Nehra, MS Dhoni and Jasprit Bumrah. All of them got cheers but the loudest was reserved for captain Dhoni. He, too, obliged with a smile before shaking hands with team manager Kapil Malhotra and heading for boarding.
