South Africa cricketer Hashim Amla is all set to join the Kings XI Punjab team for the remainder of IPL 2016.
Amla, who is yet to make his debut in IPL, will replace injured Shaun Marsh in the squad, ESPNCricinfo reported.
Marsh had picked up the injury in the game against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 19, but was seen playing against Gujarat Lions on Sunday. Later, he was ruled out of the IPL after that game.
Amla was part of the players auction with a base price of Rs 1 crore but was not picked up any franchise.
