India finally got their head coach after Anil Kumble’s name was announced in Dharamsala on Thursday.
India were without a head coach after Duncan Fletcher’s contract expired after the World Cup in 2015. Ravi Shastri was appointed as team director in the World Cup build-up and he continued at the position till World T20 2016.
Twitter reacted to the appointment of Kumble.

Good on @ianuragthakur to acknowledge Ravi Shastri’s contribution. Ravi had stepped in at a difficult time.
