Prasidh Krishna gets the big fish as India fight back hard. A beautiful delivery to lure Harris into a trap. He angles it in from round the stumps and shapes it away to get the edge to Jurel. And he has two in two! Scott Boland is dismissed for a golden duck as he slashes at a wide bumper that lands in Dropped Prasidh nearly finds another wicket as a firm bumper finds the top-edge from Nathan McAndrew that lobs just over KL Rahul at second slip. Prasdh breaks the stand Prasidh Krishna has broken a 68-run stand here as he dismisses Jimmy Peirson caught-behind by a brilliant catch by Jurel. Krishna goes for the short ball that shapes in and Peirson's heave across the line gets an under-edge that zips down to Jurel on his left. Fought through a couple of gruelling spells this morning. Play resumes, Kotian denied Tanush Kotian is into the attack after the players return to the field after another stoppage in play. Kotian immediately deceives Harris in the air and spins the ball past the edge to first-slip. The Indian fielders go up for a huge appeal and is in disbelief after the umpire has turned down their animated gestures. Rain returns The score stands at Nelson (111/5) as the players trudge back with the rain returning to the G. Marcus Harris has put in a stoic effort to keep the hosts battling hard in this innings. But the stop-start play would not help the batters. Harris cops a hard blow Khaleel is looking sharp in this spell as he threatens both edges off Marcus Harris. Khaleel gets one to tuck in sharply and it hits Harris on the hip and he winces in pain. Khaleel immediately follows up with an outswinger that beats the outside-edge by a whisker. Oliver Davies c Mukesh Kumar b Prasidh Krishna 13 (20b 1x4) Khaleel strikes early in the day India's left-arm seamer Khaleel Ahmed has helped the side with an early strike on Day 2 at the MCG. Australia A starting from their overnight score of 53/2 lost Sam Konstas for only three runs with Khaleel trapping the batter lbw in the 19th over. The Aussies had lost captan Nathan McSweeneey and Cameron Bancroft overnight with Khaleel and Mukesh Kumar picking one apiece.
