Former India opener Sudhir Naik has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after suffering a fall at his home on March 24.

Naik had played three Tests and 2 ODIs for India.

On Wednesday, popular movie and TV star Satish Shah would take to his social media to upload a photo with the former Mumbai captain.

Interestingly, he also has a unique record of hitting the first four by an Indian in an ODI against England at Leeds — in 1974. The first six was hit by his Mumbai teammate, Sunil Gavaskar.
