Former India opener Sudhir Naik has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after suffering a fall at his home on March 24.
Naik had played three Tests and 2 ODIs for India.
On Wednesday, popular movie and TV star Satish Shah would take to his social media to upload a photo with the former Mumbai captain.

Interestingly, he also has a unique record of hitting the first four by an Indian in an ODI against England at Leeds — in 1974. The first six was hit by his Mumbai teammate, Sunil Gavaskar.
On his Test debut at Edgbaston, he scored a valiant 77 in the second innings. He went on to play two more Test matches against West Indies at home.
Naik had a stellar first-class career, he has played 85 matches and scored 4376 runs. For Bombay, however, Naik did very well and in the Ranji Trophy, he scored 2687 runs (40.10) with the highest score of 200 not out against Baroda in 1973-74.
He also led Mumbai to the Ranji Trophy title in 1970-71.
