According to the Greater Noida weather forecast, there is also a chance of thunderstorms at 11 AM IST.

According to Google’s weather forecast, there is a chance of rain on all 5 days (from September 9 to 13) in Greater Noida.

Given the soggy outfield and poor drainage system at the Greater Noida Sports Complex, it would be a major surprise if the AFG vs NZ toss happens at the scheduled time (9:30 AM IST).

Confident Shahidi

Despite the challenges, Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi is confident that his team will give a good competition to New Zealand.

“We played one three-day game here, so we know the conditions,” he told reporters on Sunday.

“We will try to make the playing eleven according to the conditions. We want to improve in Test cricket, we accept all kinds of challenges. These are very big opportunities to show our talent – score big. If you want that, this is the place to show.”
