Here are the main Indian events to track on Day 9 of the Asian Games (Monday):

After a dramatic Sunday in Hangzhou, when India won 15 medals in a single day, action continues in full pace at the 19th Asian Games on Monday.

Athletics: More medals on the cards

After Avinash Sable’s gold on Sunday, it will be over to Parul Chaudhary in women’s 3000m steeplechase where she will also be joined by Priti. Shaili Singh and Ancy Sojan are in women’s long jump final, while the mixed 4x400m relay team will look to impress too. Pavithra in women’s pole vault and Amlan Borgohain in men’s 200m are the other athletes in medal events. Also, watch out for Tejaswin Shankar in the decathlon that gets underway on Monday.

Table tennis: Women’s doubles semifinal

After their stunning win over world champs Chen Meng and Wang Yidi to be assured a horic medal, India’s Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee will be hoping to go one step higher on the podium.

Badminton: Individual rounds begin

After the team events came to a close on Sunday, attention turns to the individual categories where Satwik-Chirag will be among those in action.

Here a brief schedule of the main Indian events to track on Tuesday in Hangzhou (all times in IST):
