Former UP minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya Thursday underwent the lie-detection test in connection with the murder of Kunda DSP Ziaul Haque.

The results of the test, which lasted for nearly 90 minutes, would be made available to the CBI in a few days. Raja Bhaiyya, former food and civil supplies minister in the UP government, did not evade any questions,CBI sources said.

The results of the polygraph test may not be treated as primary evidence but can always be treated as circumstantial evidence; it would give inputs that can be later developed and used by the agency following a thorough probe. The agency has filed its chargesheet in the case, but has not named Raja Bhaiyya as the accused.
