The Supreme Court today allowed oil regulator Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to process pending applications for the grant of licences to provide retail CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas to households in cities.
A three-judge bench,headed by Justice Dalveer Bhandari,today permitted PNGRBs plea to grant it authorisation to issue licences for retail sale of CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas with some riders.
