With Congress pointing fingers at "fascist" forces, a term it uses for BJP, for hacking Twitter accounts of Rahul Gandhi and his Congress party, Goa BJP chief Vinay Tendulkar on Friday said it has become a "fashion to blame Narendra Modi" for everything which was "unfair". "Yesterday, we heard that Twitter account of Rahul Gandhi was hacked. Later, there was news that Congress's Twitter account was also hacked. Immediately, they blamed (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi," Tendulkar said at 'Vijay Sankalp' rally at Shiroda. "It has become a fashion to blame Modi for everything. This is not fair," the state BJP chief said. Blaming "fascist" forces for the hacking, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had said it reflects the extremities of an intolerant culture that resorts to abuse when cornered. Senior party leader Digvijay Singh had also pointed fingers at "followers of the government" for this. Tendulkar also said that "with the election nearing, you will see many Congress candidates getting hacked from their party" but did not elaborate. BJP has been holding Vijay Sankalp rallies ahead of Assembly polls in Goa which are due in March 2017.
