Ahead of the third Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) meeting in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1, the BJP on Wednesday took potshots at the Opposition saying their ambition of defeating Prime Minister Narendra Modi will "remain a dream." Taking to X, the BJP tweeted, "Opposition thinks PM Modi can be defeated. Dream on! The Terminator always wins." The party also tagged an image of Modi terming him "The Terminator". Unveiling of the INDIA alliance logo, formation of a coordination committee, appointment of convenors, a discussion on the possible seat-sharing formula between the INDIA constituents for the general elections, strategies for the general elections, and several others are on the agenda of the Opposition INDIA alliance meeting. The second meeting of the Opposition took place in Bengaluru in July, wherein a coalition – Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance – to take on the ruling NDA led by the Bharatiya Janata Party was formed. The first meeting of the Opposition parties to forge a common front against the ruling BJP for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections took place in Patna in June.
