Madhyamik examinee commits suicide

The boy, Raju Rakshit, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his house at P Road under Daspur police station area in the afternoon.

A 16-year-old boy who is supposed to sit for the class X board examination beginning on Wednesday, committed suicide in his Howrah home on Tuesday, police said.

Police said the reason for the suicide was not yet known.

The body was sent for postmortem.
