The Delhi Police crime Branch raided a law firm in south Delhi Saturday and recovered more than Rs 8 crore in cash, of which Rs 2 crore was in new notes. JCP (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said, “We have raided T&T law firm in Greater Kailash-I. As of now, Rs 8 crore has been recovered but the exact amount will be known after we finish counting the notes.” He said Income Tax officials have been called to the spot. Inter-state cell officers said that the I-T department had conducted a raid at the same firm two months ago, after the deadline for Voluntary Disclosure of Income Scheme got over.
