Suspected militants shot dead a youth in Sopore town of north Kashmir,police said on Thursday.
Bullet-ridden body of 28-year-old Mohammad Ashraf was recovered by police near Krankshivan colony,55 kms from Srinagar this Thursday morning,a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said Ashraf,a resident of MET road in Sopore,was working as a labourer in the town.
This is the second civilian killing in Sopore town within a week.
On July 25,unidentified militants shot dead a 38-year-old businessman Mohsin Ahmad in Sopore town.
No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the killings.
