Two Kashmiri teenagers missing after crossing LoC

The parents of the teenagers have lodged a missing report with the police.

Two Kashmiri teenagers were missing after they unknowingly crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district,army officials said on Sunday.

16-year-old Mohd Yunis,a resident of Guntrian village,and his friend Ishfaq (15) crossed Uripora gate along the LoC to look for a pair of oxen last evening,they said.

The duo have not returned back and troops are searching for them,they said.

Army officials on Sunday contacted their Pakistani counterparts through the hotline and asked them to handover the boys who had unknowingly crossed to their side.

No response has been received about the duo so far from the Pakistani side,they said.

The parents of the teenagers have lodged a missing report with the police.
