For the first time, the cross-LoC bus service has come under attack from the protestors in north Kashmir. A resident of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) has been injured as the protestors pelted stones on the bus at Pattan.
The Karvan-e-Aman was moving from Srinagar to Muzaffarabad and when it reached near Palhalan village on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad national highway, protestors pelted stones at the bus smashing several of its window panes. Police says that a resident of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) was also injured in the stone pelting.
As the cross-LoC bus was caught in the stone pelting, police and paramilitary forces resorted to cane charge to disperse the protestors. The police then shifted the passengers of the bus into police vehicles and shifted them to a safe location.
