Police recovers 6 rifles,37 explosive devices in J-K

Police recovered 6 rifles,615 rounds and 37 explosive devices during a operation in Reasi district of J-K.

Police today recovered 6 rifles including two Pika rifles,615 rounds and 37 explosive devices during a operation in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir.

Acting on inputs,police launched a major operation in Gagna-top forest in Arns belt of Reasi district and seized the cache of arms,ammunition and explosive material today,SSP Reasi R K Churasia told PTI.

The recoveries made by the state police and 61 Rastriya Rifles (RR) included 2 Pika guns,2 AK rifles,one Self loading Rifle (SLR),One .303 rifle and 2 AK magazines.

455 rounds of Ak rifle,25 Pik Rifle rounds,75 rounds of SLR,60 rounds of Chinese Pistol,25 detonators,8 rifle grenades,4 Chinese grenades,one wireless set,one binocular,7 IED blasting batteries and one big IED blasting batter were also recovered.
